Woman As You Are

She was born to be free...

Among flowers n trees,

And fly with birds,

While play with herds.

But shackles grew

Before she knew,

For the lies they fed

Of obscurity instead.

Her exuberance shunted...

Her prowess disregarded...

Her dreams looted,

Her voice muted.

Oh people make way....

Of the new she today

Of grace dignified,

And exuberance personified!

You hid her gift,

And thought they went adrift...

She was here always

With absolute grace,

Amidst all shackles and ban

Nurturing him to be a man.

She was a gem so rare

You thought her unaware...

Kept her a lock,

While she taught u to walk.

Now think oh people.....

Whom u thought so feeble

Could bear the yolk and still be chaste

A man in so eternal penal....would he last?
